 2012

The Calgary Stampede is pleased to announce that the Stampede's Visiting Bands committee has been sanctioned to host the 2012 World Association of Marching Show Bands World Championships. The call is now going out to show bands around the world to attend this prestigious event in 2012 which  also marks the 100th anniversary of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

The Japanese Marching Band Association is pleased to announce that the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in City of Chiba Japan has been chosen as the site of the 2013 World Association of Marching Shows Bands World Championships.
